West Michigan HVAC & Geothermal Contractor

Tax Credits

Federal tax credits for qualifying heating and cooling systems are again available for 2011, although they are reduced from 2010 levels.

These credits apply only to an existing home and it must be your principle residence. New construction, vacation homes and rental properties do not qualify.

The tax credit of GEOTHERMAL systems remains at 30% of the total system installed cost, with no maximum limit. This credit applies to existing homes AND new construction, both principle residences and second homes. Rental properties do not qualify. There may also be tax credits available from the State of Michigan. We recommend you consult with a professional tax adviser for full details on the tax credits and how they apply in your situation.

Adams Heating & Cooling has several heating and cooling system options that will qualify for these tax credits. Call us at 873-2665 for a free estimate and we'll show you how you can save on your utility bills, as well as your tax bill.
